The fifth fire engine of the day just roared into Elysian Park. Does it really take that many hook and ladder trucks to correct a barbecue gone wrong? But then again, with the park more crowded than I’ve ever seen it, I can only imagine the Altamont scene that may be unfolding in the shadow of Dodger Stadium. With so many tinder-dry pinatas in such close quarters to so many barrels of flame….
